In this dynamic environment all of us needs to be very active. Visitors will not like if they find that the blog is dead, means it is not updated for many weeks. Everyone need updated information to cope up with the competiton & stay ahead.

Try to update your blog twice in a week or atleast 1 post in week with new content. If you can update it on daily basis then nothing like it. Unfortunately, it is not possible for me because of the busy schedule however I always try to update my blog at least in a week on regular basis.

There are 100’s of free blog directory available on the internet where you can easily submit your blog in a minute, but try to manual submissions in to most appropriate category only.

Blog search engines & communities like Technorati, provides current information on both popular searches and tags used to categorize blog postings. Don’t forget to tag your blog.
